Privacy Policy
Last updated September 26, 2026
The short version: this website doesn't ask for your name, email or any other personal information, has no sign-up forms, and doesn't knowingly collect anything from children. Books are bought on Amazon, not here.
Kid Story Books (kidstorybooks.com) is a catalog of children's books and other titles by author Maurice Johnson, published by Dominion Publishing, part of Dominion Digital Group. This page explains what happens to information when you visit.
Information we collect
We don't collect personal information. There are no accounts, no contact forms, no newsletter sign-ups and no comment boxes on this site, so there is nowhere for you or your child to type in personal details.
Children's privacy
Many of our books are written for children, but this website is meant for parents, grandparents, teachers and other adults choosing books. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, in line with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us at the address below and we will delete it.
Buying books
When you click a book, you leave this site and go to Amazon.com. Your purchase, your payment details and your Amazon account are handled entirely by Amazon under Amazon's own privacy notice. We never see your payment or shipping information.
Services that load on this site
Like most websites, a few outside services load when you visit. Each one may receive basic technical information such as your IP address and browser type:
- Netlify, which hosts the site and keeps standard server logs.
- Amazon, which serves the book cover images.
- Google Fonts, which provides the lettering on the page.
- Google Translate, which powers the Español button. Google may set its own cookies when the translation tool loads.
We don't use advertising trackers, analytics tracking or social media pixels, and we don't sell or share information with anyone.
Cookies
This site doesn't set its own cookies. The only cookies that may appear come from the Google Translate tool described above.
Changes to this policy
If anything here changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
